• I have not experienced any taste transfer between the two baskets - not fish but I cooked bacon in one and croissants in the other.

• I just did 5 battered cod and 3 loads of fries and there is no transfer

• There are two separate cooking areas and you will achieve two separate dishes. You will not notice any lingering smells after cleaning the cooking baskets.

• There are two separate enclosed places for the drawers. I don't think the fish smells would effect the alternate food cooking. I would just wonder if any lingering smell to the drawer after washing. We did steaks and fries for our meal. Very tasty.
