“Ninja Customer Service said the interior of this model is zinc-plated stainless steel. A google search says zinc-plated metal off-gasses at 500 degrees. Why did Ninja switch interiors on the larger model? It looks like the SP101 is stainless steel?”

• Zinc vaporizes at 1600 ° F. Teflon is what off-gasses at 500 degrees F. This unit is Teflon free, unlike some other units.

• This shouldn't be a problem since the air fry temperature is auto set to 450. I had the SP101 and the inside was very hard to get the grease off of, so maybe this is easier.
