A:AnswerI'm not sure what you mean exactly by "preheat." We bought this set after getting an induction cook top (JennAir) and we're impressed at how quickly these things heat up (boils water even faster than gas) with the sole exception of the smallest pot. For some reason, it does not heat up at all. We tried it on all the burners to make sure it wasn't the cook top, but had the same result. All the other pots and pans works perfectly. We went back to Ninja and they replaced the small pot with the next larger size and told us to keep the small pot. Other than that, we're very happy with our purchase.
