“Can you cook at a lower temperature than what is called for in the recipe book. For instance, I would like to cook my steak at about 350 but book calls for 500. Also, if cooked at lower temperature, will it cause more smoke?”

• Yes, you can cook at any temperature. Plus, it does NOT smoke at all. Best product I've bought in a while
