• Yes, it automatically shuts off. You choose whether you want a full pot to a single cup and it will automatically shut off.

• Yes it does - I believe it's after one hour that it shuts off automatically. Not sure if that's exactly right but it does have that feature.

• Yes. Everything is auto shutoff. You don’t have to hang around. You can also schedule it to start at your set time. Also, they have drip stop feature which will kick off once your coffee is done.

• The warming plate will shut off after 2hrs. You can adjust it to stay on up to 4 in settings menu. I believe the entire machine will turn off after a certain amount of inactivity. I usually just shut mine off as soon as I am done with it.
