• Pulse, one speed besides pulse...fast but comes with 2 types of blades. Cutting (sharp), Blending.

• Yes it has a pulse function with the mini processor. I use the pulse option when I want to chop something and not puree it. It works very well for this. Be advised.. this is a small unit. It is not going to take the place of a full sized food processor. It works great for a few servings though.

• It has a start/stop button and a pulse button. There is one speed. I love this thing! I haven't needed more than one speed for spiralizing or chopping food.
