I guess it would depend on the type of shoe. If it's a large sneaker with a think sole...probably not...maybe a small, thin sneaker like Keds? But my main concern would be the container...it's plastic...so with a large heavy item I think it would be more prone to breaking than a glass one. My thoughts....
