• Not hard to put on and off. Sometimes, the handle mechanism on the lip gets stuck, but you can release it by pressing the button. Other than that, it's pretty simple to take on and off.

• I’ve never had a hard time with the large pitcher but I can say the cups get really hard to open after you blend.
