“I'm confused. I thought this blender was 1400 watts, but the base on bottom shows 1200 watts BN series 30. It has a separate sticker on it that says BN701. Is it possible I received the wrong one?”

• Whatever wattage the motor is up to the task and grinds anything quickly without stuttering.

• From what I understand of wattage and peak wattage is that the wattage is a consistent 1200 but when needed the unit can peak up to 1600 for a few seconds or more. Depends on the task.
