Does this unit measure "a cup" as 5oz or 6oz? Thanks! null

I believe the carafe holds 70 ounces, so a 5oz cup. But it satisfies a prolific coffee drinker, and one not so, for a long morning of caffeine infusion.

As a cup, I do 4 cups of water, or I put water on my traveling mug then add it to the reservoir then brew it.
