Ninja pellets are manufactured by Bear Mountain. I called up Bear Mountain and they told me there was no reason their brand would not work in the Ninja Woodfire.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Any food quality wood pellet works
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It seems to me that other brand pellets I have tried generally tend to burn faster and don't last for the 45 minute cycle that the Woodfire-specific pellets do. With other brand pellets, I go ahead and put the food on during the ignition cycle (15 minutes or more) when the pellets are firing up and the smoke appears to be most intense. I haven't found a reason not to take advantage of the ignition cycle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to the YouTube channel CJ barbecues he said even in one part of the manual it does say you can use other wood pellets. They obviously want to sell their own pellets so they're going to say you can only use theirs. But any food safe pellet should work
