Pellets will burn for approximately 30 to 90 minutes.

Please try again later.per the manual, you only need to use the first load of pellets, but if you find you want more smoke you can re load after they have all burned and hold the smoke button for 3 seconds or so to start a re ignition sequence. I found on a pork butt that one load was plenty smoky, keep the lid closed and use a remote thermometer, or the included thermometer if you buy that model the pro connect xl.
