Once the Woodfire Grill is turned off, the wood pellets stop actively burning almost immediately. The grill’s internal fan and heating elements shut down, cutting off the airflow and heat needed to sustain combustion. While there may be a brief period of residual smoldering, it typically lasts only a few minutes and does not continue to produce smoke or heat. Always allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
