I was able to buy 2. One to open and another to keep in box.

It's really hard to find an item that is an absolute replica of characters that a lot of people grew up enjoyed playing, simple games that now are considered classics, collectible games, really hard to find (unless you pay so much money "Scalpers") amiibos are great because they're not just toys, they almost come to life in compatible games and that is just alien tech, nowadays is great that people can pre-order amiibos because when I started collecting them, some amiibos where extremely hard to find, unless you befriended a Gamestop salesperson or another store that sells video game tech-goodies. Best Buys and most stores should definitely limit their amiibo preorders to 1 or 2 orders per person, the problem is that there's always a way to cheat the system and as long as the store makes the sales I guess it doesn't matter who buys it, just try to be the first in line.
