• You can't. Unfortunately you have to press the reset button on the console. After that there will be a save point once it starts up unless you open another game.

• Reset your TV? You do have to reset the game system. There are sites out there that offer you to "jail break" the system and install codes to reset it using a series of buttons on the controller, I have not done this (I don't condone it either), and have no recommendations for it as well.
