My son got this $35 Nintendo eShop gift card for Christmas. He scratched the back (to reveal the redemption code) so hard that he scrapped off some characters. How can I get this card devalued and get a new $35 card? Thanks null

If you have the ticket call Nintendo customer service and they will send a new code. This has happened to me in the past and that's what I did. I've been purchasing digital cards ever since.

You shouldn’t have to. I did this before and I called up Nintendo, gave them other codes that are printed on the card not under the scratch-off portion, and they were able to give me the correct letters and numbers that were scratched off and I was able to use the same gift card and get the full value. I think they deal woth this problem frequently.

Same thing happened to me. I went to the Nintendo website and contacted support. They asked me to take a photo of the front and back then send it to them. Once they received them, they credited my Ninendo eShop account with the value of the card.

are the numbers scratched or the letters if so what are they. My kids get these cards all the time and they have compared cards and many times the first 3 or 4 numbers/letters are the same sequence.

Its a pain happens to alot of people. Youve probly already figured out ur problem. But if u call nintendo support theyll get u the numbers of the card. Really shouldnt make such cheap cards.
