If you have the ticket call Nintendo customer service and they will send a new code. This has happened to me in the past and that's what I did. I've been purchasing digital cards ever since.

I did this before and I called up Nintendo, gave them other codes that are printed on the card not under the scratch-off portion, and they were able to give me the correct letters and numbers that were scratched off and I was able to use the same gift card and get the full value. I think they deal woth this problem frequently.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same thing happened to me. I went to the Nintendo website and contacted support. They asked me to take a photo of the front and back then send it to them. Once they received them, they credited my Ninendo eShop account with the value of the card.
