Unfortunately a feature input like that has not been provided to the Nintendo Switch Pro controller. I do hope by this year Nintendo plan to release another controller that is headphone jack compatible during the year.

Please try again later.No, you need to use Nintendo's dumb phone app in order to talk to other players and only some games are supported, although playing Fortnite and Stardew Valley have built-in voice chat, although you have to use the switch out of dock mode to do so (as far as I know).

Take it from me, make a free Discord account and then use a set of earbuds on PC/Mac or iOS/Android. Yes you still have to use a phone but hey, its way better than the Nintendo "solution".
