• No, these are more efficient. This won't ruin anything and don't come off. There are accessories that help w the hamdheld but, you can't physically take these ones on and off like the normal switch. Hopefully this helps!

• the lite doesn't have detachable joycons like the regular switch, so no, they won't break.
