• Yes, but only when sending one photo at a time. If you send more than one photo, you can only put a comment on the first photo.

• Hello, In short, the answer is no. The picture frame displays photos only. It is not a tool for communication. If your pictures have text in them, well, then that would work. I have not heard of any other digital picture frame that includes photos and texting (like you would use with your mobile phone, tablet, or computer). Good luck and happy holidays!
