Playlists is a way for you to make a collections of photos and videos and have them made available on the Nixplay frame. You can assign specific playlists to different Nixplay Frames and also invite Friends and Family members to add content to specific playlists. In short, if you want to display content on the Nixplay frame, you have to add the content to the specific playlist assigned to that frame. Albums are the place where original photos are backed up on the Nixplay Cloud. When you upload media to the Nixplay Cloud, it needs to be uploaded to an album. Content added to an album will not display on the Nixplay frame unless it is also added to the particular playlist running on the Nixplay frame. From the Nixplay mobile app, you can upload content directly to a playlist without needing to first upload to an album. The content will be automatically stored in a default album called "Photos from me".
