So, for example, you could use the GB150 on a vehicle with a small 2.0L engine and then use it on a large 8.0L engine, the GB150 would use less power to start the 2.0L and more power to start the larger 8.0L engine. So, it is not necessarily "overkill" to use the GB150 on your Ford F150, even though the F150's engine is well under the 9.0L max limit of the GB150. For a Ford F150 we'd normally recommend the GB40, but if you want a model that you can rely on to help others in need, the GB150 is a great option because it's capable of starting such large engines. The GB40 is recommended for gas engines up to 6.0L and diesel up to 3.0L, so if you wanted to assist someone who had a vehicle with an engine outside of that range, it may not work.
