A:AnswerFirst double check with T-Mobile that this phone will work on their network. It did not work with AT&T. T-Mobile will handle the port for you when you sign up with their service. They have a feature that shows if your number is portable. I did not have to contact my provider when T-Mobile ported my phone number.
