“Can you take the battery out? And is it small like the size of your hand and since i am a Sprint carrier I would have to start a new service ?”

• I can't speak to the Sprint part of your question, but the battery is easily removable, and the phone is very small and light. If you're looking for a "feature" (aka "dumb") phone, I would say this is a good choice.
