Yes, the charging base works with all Apple watches including the series 3 watches

The stand does work with the Apple Watch Series 3, I recently purchased the series 3 and it charges fine with no problems. The only drawback for the stand is with my iPhone X case. I have a LifeProof Next case and although the charging part does adjust to accommodate cases my Next case has a cover that won’t allow it to sit properly so that it can charge the phone. Yes I’d recommend this stand it’s pretty sturdy and works fine.
