Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The head comes off (bayonet connector - just twist and pull off). You can then just rinse it under the faucet. The only blue I see on mine is the plastic surrounding the blades on one of the heads; I assume it's just a decorative inlay. It doesn't cover the blades.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Leave the blue cover on for regular trimming and you can rinse it that upon every use. I only swap the blue trimmer when I use the nose hair trimmer and then I rinse that after use also
