I also have T-Mobile and hoped to replace it with my broken flip phone. The only thing I had to do was swap the Sim card from my broken phone. You do need to save your contacts to your Sim card before you swap the Sim card or you will have to enter all your contact information again.

Please try again later.if your current flip phone has a sim card under the battery, just take it out and put in the new phone's sim slot. you have to push the sim card under the metal band in either of the two Sim slots in the F1 phone and line it up just right. If you don't the phone will not find the sim card. If you stored your contacts to the sim, they will be on new phone. Check with Best Buy on their return policy. It's usually 15 days.

Specifically, it will operate on the following GSM frequencies: 850, 950, 1800, and 1900. It's always a good idea to confirm with your local carrier though, so in your shoes I would advise taking that frequency list to your local carrier and checking with them. As for the topic of returns, those will always be subject to the vendor's return policy.
