You'll have to bust out a tape measure, the RTX 3080 measure in at 11.2"(L) x 4.4" (W), which is much larger length wise than the 1060 which is only 6.8" (L). Side note, the RTX 3080 is a 350 watt card, the 1060 is only 230 watts, you'll also need to confirm your power supply can handle that. 700 watt or more is recommended and it needs 2x 8 pin pci-e plugs (with included adapter) or a new power supply with the very recently adopted 12 pin pci-e plug
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As someone mentioned this is a larger card, 11.2" and the power supply needs to be 750W. If you don't have the power supply or space the 3070 might be a great option. Still an amazing upgrade from the 1060 the 3070 is similar in performance to the 2080ti. The 3070 is 9.5" long and needs 650W.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will not be as easy as you think. I have the exact same PC as you and I will be upgrading the CPU, MOBO, PSU, SSD, RAM and all of the fans. You will have plenty of space in the case though, thats 1 thing you're good on right now. If you want your 3080 to run 100% make sure you're upgrading your other components as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.RTX 3080 Founders Edition Card Dimensions: Length 11.2" (285 mm) Width 4.4" (112 mm) Height 2-Slot Power Suppy recommanded is 750W Source: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/30-series/rtx-3080/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could, but that 4 core CPU could hold it back causing a bottleneck, also you have to make sure your power supply can deliver enough power as well
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can check the measurements of the card under specifications, and then measure your case to see if it fits. But you most likely will need to upgrade your power supply. Make sure you have at least a 650w 80+ gold psu or better. Ideally a 750w psu, that's what nvidia recommends for it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If IBUYPOWER gave you a 1060 than your CPU will most likely bottleneck the card. save your money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd also be worried about your PSU and what motherboard it has on there. I'd measure your case and look at the length of the GPU to make sure it will fit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sure its going to fit, but your cpu and you psu with be a set back for this card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As some people mentioned on power supply, you will need to check that your's will be able to handle the excess load. According to Nvidia the gpu will come with an adapter for the new 12 pin, so the cable alone should not be reason alone to buy a new PSU. The other issue is this is a pcie 4 card. If your motherboard doesn't support it you will not get the same milage out of the card. Your system is only as good a weakest link, so if you have a slow cpu but a fast gpu you will get some significant bottleneck in performance. For future questions, make sure you post you system specs so people can. Better assess your needs! GLHF!
