• I would definitely recommend upgrading your PSU. Minimum recommendation with a typical system and this GPU is 750W

• Your PSU will be fine unless the rest of your system is extremely power hungry. Existing leaked benchmarks all show around a 500watt TOTAL system power draw running the 3080. More power would be better, IE, less stress on your PSU, more overhead for overclocking and adding components later, etc, but technically speaking 550w Gold will be fine.

• 750w is recommended, but you can totally go by with 650w if you are using AMD (way less power hungry than intel)
