It depends on the rest of your PC. If you have the latest processors and maxed out RAM, you might be able to run Paint if you switch the UI in Windows to basic, and close any open applications. If you really want to run Paint, opt for 2x 3090's, those can run in SLI. Good luck.

you only need 2X 3090s if you plan on running MS Paint along side calculator and notepad. And for running calculator at optimal performance I recommend upgrading your CPU to a Xeon or Threadripper

It might. I'm upgrading to this card from a 2080Ti as Minesweeper and Jezzball are becoming more sluggish each and every day. I'm capped at 120fps so a new monitor and this gpu will hopefully put me in the 200fps range. I also found a site review of the 3080 where they stress tested the 3080 with the Windows Space Cadet 3D Pinball game and the results were, low key, out of this world. Just buy it and keep MS Paint alive!

It is rumored that at max settings with RTX On, you'll be looking at a solid 60 frames at 1080p. The game is very demanding so I recommend you have a really High End system already picked out or built. However with RTX Off, your frame rate should quadruple and could possibly be able to run at 60FPS 8K.

It can, but you might need to wait until you can get a hybrid liquid cooled version of the RTX 3080 to run ms paint. It can however max out the settings on Crysis.
