The pascal tech in those cards is still great. The 2000 series cards made it easy to keep my 1080ti and the death of SLI may make it hard for you to want to purchase a newer 3000 series card. Pure rasterisation has been replaced with DLSS algorithms which are fantastic especially in 2K and 4K. I have a 3090 and have pushed many games to their ultimate settings and have barely used 8-10GB of memory bandwidth. You’d be safe with a 3080 to replace those cards and like I said before SLI support will be a thing of the past very soon anyways.
