“Is the dolby atmos audio from netflix and vudu from the nvidia shield compressed(atmos/dd+) or uncompressed(atmos/dolby true hd) when connected directly to capable receiver or soundbar?”

• On Vudu and plex I get uncompressed Dolby atmos, and all the other audio files no problem. I can’t say for Netflix because I don’t have a premium 4k account
