It’s covers the whole switch, front and back

The console cover has front and back pieces that snap together around the console.

It comes with a tempered glass screen protector (quite nice), a back plate, and a snap on frame for the front.

front and back plate and a cover for the joycon too only downside is u have to take the joycon covers off to put them on a controller
