you need wi-fi thats all. on the oculus home screen you can browse games and videos. initial set up is done with your phone and wi-fi. once it is set up you dont need the phone anymore just wi fi.you can search on the oculus phone app for games also. you can pick one on your phone and the game will be ready to download once your start up your oculus
