Incorrect. While there are quite a few Quest versions of titles that appear on PC VR these are ports, much like you would find an Xbox version of a PS4 title or vise versa. You cannot purchase a PC Steam VR or Oculus Rift game and run it on the Quest. Games must be developed for the Quest specifically. Think of the Quest as a VR console. A device that requires no other hardware to run.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need a pc at all but if you want to once the Oculus Link is available it will be possible to play vr games that only can be played on pc for example Gorn isn't on the quest but once the link is out there you could buy it on steam then use the OL to play it through the Quest
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don’t need a computer, correct. ....but not all games on Rift or Steam are available in Quest.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need a computer to use it, but you need to Bluetooth the headset to the Oculus phone app for setup. Currently, you can only play the games released on the Oculus Store, but hopefully, they'll sync it more to computers in the future. I'm sure you can google and see the list of what games are currently available on the Quest.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.True, though the Quest is a stand-alone console you can use it to play Steam VR. In order to stream your PC VR titles to the Quest you will need to "sideload" an app like vridge/riftcat or ALVR to the HMD. There are many tutorials out there on side loading to the Quest, just gotta bust out that Google-fu.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.not exactly. oculus is being jerks about an app that a developer made to play steam vr. that feature in the app was removed. that took away a lot of games. first games arent released very fast. most games are too kid style. a few games are cool and for older. beatsaber, superhot, roborecall etc. love those.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don’t need a computer. However, that doesn’t mean you can play the same games on a PC. The quest is still fairly new and games are being added. You can sideadd a bunch of things. I suggest looking into this and checking out youtube.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don't need a computer to use this device. But you also can't play the same games as that of a computer. The games are custom-made for the device since it is using a mobile chip and its system is a variation of Android.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The games on the store for the oculus quest are a limited amount of 50 at launch and more in the future. Therefore many games that are on oculus( rift/rift s)store that have not yet been ported to quest to play it on the quest.
