I am interested very much in VR for racing..I MUST wear bifocals, will this be an issue with the headset? null

I'm guessing you look through the large part of the lens for driving? If that's the case, it shouldn't be a problem, as long as you take the proper precautions. It's very easy to scratch the lenses of your Rift with your prescription glasses. There's a Reddit thread about how to protect your Rift if you have to wear glasses with it. You should be able to accomplish this just fine with the rift.

Also, I recently started using the rift and in long races it can become a bit uncomfortable, however there are add ons that can help make it more comfortable, very cool experience on iracing.

No glasses are not a problem. The headset unit has adjustable straps that make it easy to put it on with glasses
