• I wouldn't recommend attaching it directly to your phone. I did and taking it off to use my MagSafe charger less than 48 hours later was nearly impossible. I was worried it was super glued to my phone.

• It can be placed directly on the phone. It does not drain my battery at all when I place it on without a case.
