• I think each state differs but here in Arizona and most states I've noticed since it goes 15 mph Max you do not need a driver's license or do you need to register it. I recently lost my license and that was the reason why I got this to go here around town I guess I could go long distance up to 35 miles but it would be a long ride LOL
