Q: QuestionLooking at either the OKAI Neon Lite or the Neon Lite II. On the Neon Lite, does the bottom glow as well or is it just the strip in the front? Anyone know what the difference between the lite and the lite II is? Trying to figure out if it's worth +$150.

• A:Answer AFAIK, there is no Neon Lite II. There is the Neon II and the Neon Lite. The Neon II weighs more and has a longer max range (25 miles) due to bigger battery. The Neon Lite is bit lighter, but has a shorter range (18 miles). You choice comes down to whether you want a lighter scooter or one that goes farther.

• A:Answer The scooter has an IP55 rating. Meaning it's resistant to harmful dust and low-pressure water jets. Meaning it can be gently hosed. So, yes, it can be ridden in the rain. However, you should avoid doing so. And you should wipe it dry as soon as you can after exposure.

• A:Answer Speaking from my experience no, it will move but the resistance from something (probably the motor) does not alow it to roll freely. Downhill is probably a different story but on level ground I would not consider it a "kick scooter" but if it runs out of battery it won't completely lock up, you'll be able to get it home by rolling it.

• A:Answer You can lock the scooter with an NFC card. It then requires the card to unlock. If left unlocked you can ride without the key. It does connect via Bluetooth and wireless to a phone app as well. I would recommend airtagging it somewhere for additional protection if stolen.
