• Yes; under most (non-scene) situations. However, you have to shoot both RAW with JPEG image, there is not just a RAW setting.

• You can choose to shoot only JPEG or RAW plus JPEG. The quality of the images is very good. The RAW files are easily read in ADOBE Lightroom or Photoshop and there is software included with the camera as well.

• Yes you do. You can have one or the other or you can have both at the same time. Shooting RAW will require a bigger memory card though because your files are so much bigger.

• RAW+jpeg or jpeg, it won't allow RAW alone. And RAW+jpeg won't work in every setting available on this camera.

• Yes, you can turn RAW off if you want to save some space on your memory card.
