If you want to install an additional SSD, it will need to be a SATA drive and you will need to purchase a SATA 3 data cable to connect the SSD to the motherboard. The power cable is already there inside the case so nothing else will need to be changed. I added this one to mine https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sandisk-ultra-512gb-internal-sata-solid-state-drive-for-laptops/5969506.p?skuId=5969506 and you can find tutorials online on how to add an additional SSD to your computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model already has a SATA and M.2 drive so you would only be able to either add a SATA or replace the M.2 drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is one additional 3.5" hard drive expansion bay and one additional SATA 6Gbs connector on the motherboard. If you are getting an SSD then it will require an adapter to fit into the hard drive expansion bay since SSD's are typically 2.5c and you will need a SATA cable to connect to the motherboard.
