There are two SATA ports on the board. One is used by the 2TB HDD and you have one free SATA slot to use. There is a tool less drive slot that will fit a 2.5 or full size HDD. As far as what SATA version I am not sure. I installed a 2.5 inch WD Blue 500 GB SSD. I had screws laying around and used them. So you will need screws to mount the 2.5 HDD. A regular sized HDD will fit without any tools. And a SATA cable and then you are good to go. I used crystal mark and tested all three drives here are the results if you are interested. I know I probably went a little too much into detail but yes there is a slot for another HDD, a mount for the Second HDD is included the mount will fit a 3.5 HDD without any other screws, but you will need screws if you install a 2.5 laptop drive or SSD. The Power supply is just fine I don't see any issues here as this desktop is not meant to be over clocked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe they are SATA 6Gb connectors, but they are the non-latching variety and because of tight clearance issues they are right angle connectors at the drive. There are a total of two 3.5" slots with trays for regular hard drives. It looks like you would need to provide your own cable for the second tray. Personally, I took the 2TB drive out and added my own drive in there.
