  • Questiondoes the omron series 10 bp monitor give a blood pressure reading even if you have afib

    Asked by chucky.

    • Answer Hi Chucky, yes, the OMRON 10 Series will still provide a blood pressure reading even if you have AFib. The device can detect irregular heartbeats, including those that may be associated with atrial fibrillation, but it will continue the measurement and display your blood pressure results. If you have ongoing AFib or other heart rhythm concerns, we always recommend sharing your readings with your doctor for proper evaluation.

  • Questiondo you have to use the blue tooth feature being I have a pacemaker?

    Asked by teddy3.

    • Answer Hi Teddy, no, you don’t have to use the Bluetooth feature to take a blood pressure reading. The OMRON 10 Series can be used completely offline by pressing the START/STOP button to measure and view results directly on the monitor. If you have a pacemaker, we recommend consulting your doctor before using any electronic medical device to ensure it’s appropriate for your specific situation.
