Yes, the Media function can be programmed to control Apple TV. However, the quick setup doesn’t seem to work for that one device, you have to set it up the long way, using the Apple TV code found in the included code book. Note that this is easy to do, so no real problem... just slightly different setup process from the other devices. I am personally using mine with a Samsung HDTV, TiVO, Apple TV, XBox One and Onkyo home theater receiver. I only have three complaints... 1) No lighted buttons, 2) No unified volume control for the home theater (I.e. I have to change device to AUD to control volume, then back to the main devices for other functions), and 3) The device input control doesn’t work properly for my Samsung TV (I.e. I have to use the native Samsung controller to change back and forth between devices on alternate HDMI inputs).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not been able to get this to work with my AppleTV 4K. The Apple TV lights blink, but no control - tried both of the recommended setup codes (2615,1115) AND also the Apple TV "Learn Remote" process without success.

I got this remote on 12/2020 and my version does have the volume lock function, so no need to switch device to control volume. Maybe previous user has an older revision, or maybe his manual was not detailed enough to show how.
