Can check with your carrier to confirm a phone model will operate on their frequencies. There are country specific subvariants of phone models (different countries use different frequencies). This 8T "Global" model does operate on Verizon 4G LTE bands n2, n4, n5, n13, n66, and 5G bands n2, n5, n66 This 8T model supports visual voice mail. Check your phone plan. If it is bundled with 5G. I think your service is determined on the carrier side. The sim card just identifies you/phone as active subscriber.
