A:Answer Both options are unlocked, but if you "activate now" it will ask you about phone services, such as T-Mobile, Verizon, or AT&T. I always just clicked "activate later". That way, I could take the SIM card I had in the other phone I purchased unlocked and use that. But, instead, I went to the store and just purchased this phone unlocked instead.
