I don't think so, at least if it does, it's not spelled out on the control panel. I haven't really read the manual yet though so it's possible it can.

I have seen nothing like spiral playing on the onkyo. You can set up a list of 40 tracks that you want to play in sequence. You can also have it randomly play all of the tracks currently loaded. It will stop when all have been played.
