“If TV is connected with HDMI (ARC), will volume display on my tv every time I change it? My current Pioneer does this and I don't know what feature this is to see if Onkyo does the same.”

• If your input is anything other that TV it will be displayed. When you select TV as the input (e.g. Amazon or Netflix streamed to your tv) it is not.

• The volume numbers appear only on the Onkyo box when using the Onkyo to adjust the volume.

• My LG TV is conected to my Onkyo receiver via the ARC HDMI and does not display the receiver volume changing on the TV. On the other hand, the dB is easy to read on the receiver itself. In no time at all I remember what input requires exactly what dB volume setting.
