“If TV is connected with HDMI (ARC), will volume display on my tv every time I change it? My current Pioneer does this and I don't know what feature this is to see if Onkyo does the same.”

Yes, the volume level shows on the TV when it’s being changed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your input is anything other that TV it will be displayed. When you select TV as the input (e.g. Amazon or Netflix streamed to your tv) it is not.

On the other hand, the dB is easy to read on the receiver itself. In no time at all I remember what input requires exactly what dB volume setting.
