Hello Janell, The TX8470 has the ability of Transmit and Receive for the Bluetooth through the receiver. For the Bose Headphones to work you would have to set the receiver to Transmit so that you can get the sound that is being produced through the receiver to go through the headphones. This feature is located within the manual page 85. Thank you Onkyo
