QuestionCan I replace an old dead 6.1 receiver with a 7.2 receiver, without adding speakers or losing sound? My old Onkyo HT-R520 receiver has 3 front speakers (left, center, right), 3 rear speakers (left, center, right), and 1 subwoofer, all wiring inside walls

- Answer Should be able to; in the setup you can set different configurations. I am using a 5 speaker setup. 2 front, 1 center, and 2 rear.

- Answer I think this could be done with bluetooth, but I'm not too sure as to how good it would be. mine is wired, great sound and I'm very happy with it. I'd be worried with bluetooth maybe you would have to constantly be trying to get it to match up.

- Answer If you're running two fronts, one center, two rears and a sub, you should be fine. You'll be running a 5.1 setup. I run a 5.2.2 setup with two fronts, one center, two high-rears, one sub and two high fronts.

QuestionUsing eARC from TV to receiver, but it only plays PCM on some channels even though the broadcast is Dolby Digital. It only happens on some channels. It correctly reads eARC audio signal from most channels, plus Netflx and Amazon Prime. Any ideas why?
